TATA has partnered with PROSPERO Zambia to renovate and rehabilitate the Mbala Old Prison. PROSPERO Zambia is funded by UKaid. It is co-financing the rehabilitation of the historic old prison in Mbala that was built in

1912 which will be used as an Information Center for Tourists and secretariate office for TATA. The project is also financing the formulation the strategic plan, office furniture, website development and training for the board directors. TATA through this support empowered several MSMSE and SME’s. It’s also expected that this project will attract tourists to the Information center to get more information about the destination. The District Commissioner for Mbala Mrs. Annie Pablos commended the works of PROSPERO Zambia for supporting TATA through this project.
